The wonder sessions is an interactive course, spanning two years, in monthly lessons.
Considering that this course is about connection, it’s essential that it carry a nugget of humanity and connection throughout, which means that it has to be interactive. Each lesson is something that you read, but also something that you do— exercises that you implement into your daily life, recipes and formulas that you make, and herbs that you work with through the course of each module. There is also a strongly connected community of fellow Wonderers in Facebook group, and in discussion group on the website.
The wonder sessions is comprised of 4 modules:
Module 1: The Invitation
In module 1, you will learn how to unlock your ability to receive support and nourishment from the earth. You will start to develop an understanding of how you, specifically, interact with the hidden world, and learn tools to test your ability to see and receive more of what is out there in the world.
Plants: Damiana (Turnera diffusa), and Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus).
Module 2: Self
Module 2 is an exploration of the self, and how you view the world. Delving into your personal history, habits, neurology, beliefs, intentions, and worldview, using tools rooted in physics, Buddhist philosophy, and neuroscience to understand the age-old questions: Who are you? What do you want? And what are you really here for?
Plants: Burdock (Arctium lappa), and Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera).
Module 3: Not-self
Module 3 is an exploration of the world outside ourselves. We dive into the elements: earth, air, fire and water, using the tools developed in modules 1 and 2, and form deep, powerful connections with elemental beings (trees, earth, air spirits, plant spirits) in the world around us.
Plants: Kava kava (Piper methysticum), and Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum).
Module 4: The path of the heart
Module 4 is where we bring all we’ve learned together, to move forwards in the world. This is where your answers to the questions ‘Who am I and what am I here for?’ become action. The inner compass that you started to connect to in module 1 becomes your guide.
Plants: Hawthorn (Crategus spp.) and Rose (Rosa spp.)
Each module is divided into digestible classes, with a short (but powerful) exercise.
You can do the course at your own pace, or follow along with the rest of the group, with a new class and exercise once a month.
There are two different ways to participate
The Wonder Sessions Online
An online version of The Wonder Sessions, you will receive a monthly email, with access to the digital portions of the course, including all the writings, plant monographs and exercises. There is also full access to the online support/ community groups.
Once a quarter we will have an online meeting, where Rebecca answers any questions about the material and exercises.
The Wonder Sessions
This is the full Wonder Sessions course: Released every month over the course of two years, you will be guided on an inner, and then outer journey, into deeper connection with yourself and the world around you. In this course you will receive packets in the mail (one for each module), herbal formulas, and extra little gifts. There will also be an online support meeting every 2 weeks.
