A simple shatavari tincture for daily use
- 1 cup dried shatavari
- 1 quart or so of vodka or brandy
- 1 quart size jar
Place the shatavari in the jar and fill with alcohol. Screw lid on tightly and shake well. Label (title, date, contents), and set aside somewhere cool and dark for 4-6 weeks.
To strain, place a sieve over a big bowl, and pour out the contents of the jar. Discard the plant matter (after a good squeeze) and save the tincture.
